The company has service outlets in major domestic cities and has opened a 24-hour service hotline. After receiving a customer’s repair request, the technical team first conducts remote diagnosis and operation guidance through video and telephone, and most faults can be quickly resolved online. For problems that cannot be solved remotely, domestic customers usually have technicians arrive at the site within 24-48 hours; for foreign customers, remote support is the main method according to distance and actual situation, and local partners or dispatched technicians will be coordinated if necessary. No matter where customers are located in the world, Huapack’s technical team can respond in a timely manner to ensure normal equipment operation and production efficiency.
Horizontal Film Fill Seal Machine vs Premade Pouch Packing Machine: Core Advantage Comparison
Before choosing automatic pouch packaging equipment, it is necessary to understand the core advantages and applicable scenarios of horizontal film fill seal machines and premade pouch packing machines. Although both types of equipment belong to automatic pouch packing machines, there are significant differences in working principles, cost structures, production efficiency and other aspects.
Three Core Advantages of Horizontal Film Fill Seal Machine: Low Cost, High Efficiency, Space Saving
A Horizontal Film Fill Seal Machine is an integrated packing equipment that automatically makes bags, fills and seals from roll film. Its core advantages are mainly reflected in the following three aspects:
- Lower Film Material Cost: Horizontal Film Fill Seal Machines use rolled packaging film, which saves the processing fees, transportation fees and storage fees of bag-making factories compared with premade pouches. According to market research data and industry experience, the cost of roll film is usually 20%-40% lower than that of premade pouches for packaging materials of the same material and specification. For enterprises with large-scale and standardized production, long-term use of roll film packaging machines can save considerable packaging costs.
- Real Case: A well-known snack food enterprise in USA with a daily output of 100,000 packs of potato chips originally used premade pouches with a unit cost of $0.05 per bag. After switching to horizontal film fill seal machine, the unit cost of roll film was reduced to $0.03 per bag. Based on 300 production days per year and an annual output of 30 million bags, the enterprise saved approximately $600,000 in packaging material costs annually, achieving remarkable cost reduction effects.
- High Flexibility for Customized Production：Rollstock packaging machines can quickly adapt to different package sizes and specifications by changing the forming set, adjusting bag length, and modifying machine parameters. Unlike premade pouch packaging, there is no need to stock large quantities of pouches in different sizes, reducing inventory costs and improving production flexibility. For manufacturers with frequent product updates, multiple SKUs, or small-batch trial production, rollstock packaging machines enable faster changeovers, lower packaging material inventory, and shorter time-to-market for new products, helping businesses respond more efficiently to changing market demands.
- Faster Packaging Speed: Roll film packaging machines do not require manual or equipment bag feeding, and bag making, filling and sealing are completed in one go, with higher production efficiency than premade pouch packaging machines. The 400NQ high-speed roll film machine produced by Huapack can reach a speed of 200 packs per minute, which is particularly suitable for large-scale and continuous production scenarios. For enterprises that need to complete large orders in a short time, roll film packaging machines are the ideal choice to improve production efficiency.
Three Core Advantages of Premade Pouch Packaging Machines: Multiple Bag Types, Fast Changeover, High Quality
A premade pouch packaging machine is equipment that uses pre-manufactured packaging bags for filling and sealing. Its core advantages are mainly reflected in the following three aspects:
- More Applicable Bag Types: Premade pouch packaging machines can use premade pouches of various complex shapes and materials, including three-side seal/four-side seal pouches, stand-up pouches, zipper pouches, spout pouches, special-shaped pouches, etc. For enterprises that need to enhance product competitiveness through differentiated packaging, premade pouch packaging machines are a better choice.
- Faster Changeover Speed: When changing different bag types or products, premade pouch packaging machines only need to replace the corresponding molds and fixtures and adjust equipment parameters. The changeover time of traditional premade pouch packaging machines is usually about 30 minutes, while Huapack independently developed an automatic clamp adjustment system that realizes convenient one-click changeover, and the entire process only takes 3 seconds. For enterprises with multi-variety and small-batch production, this can greatly improve production flexibility, shorten production cycles, and better adapt to market changes.
- Real Case: A contract packaging company in the United States that produces over 50 different types of pet food products originally used traditional premade pouch machines with a changeover time of 45 minutes per product. After switching to Huapack’s 240G12 automatic clamp adjustment packaging machine, the changeover time was reduced to 3 seconds. The company’s production flexibility was significantly improved, and it was able to accept more small-batch and urgent orders. The annual production capacity increased by 35%, and customer satisfaction rose from 82% to 97%.
- Visible and Controllable Sealing Quality: Premade pouches used in premade pouch packaging machines have flat sealing edges and uniform thickness, and the sealing process is clearly visible. At the same time, premade pouch packaging machines adopt advanced servo control systems and temperature control systems, which can accurately control sealing temperature and pressure, effectively avoiding problems such as missing seals and weak seals, and ensuring the sealing performance and safety of packaging. This is particularly important for industries with high requirements for packaging sealing performance, such as food and pharmaceuticals.
